President’s Message

Contributing to the Mobility Society Through Innovative Ideas and Comprehensive Research

Since its founding in 1970, SOKEN has built a strong partnership with Toyota Motor Corporation and DENSO, supporting the development of engines, safety systems, air conditioning, and electronic components. Instead of focusing solely on individual components, SOKEN takes a holistic approach to vehicle systems, conducting comprehensive research and development to create safer and more efficient mobility solutions.

Our research extends across a wide range of technological fields, including hybrid vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, electric vehicles, information and communication technologies, and AD/ADAS. In particular, we stay at the forefront of CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric) innovations, driving advancements in autonomous driving, electrification, and AI applications to enhance the mobility of society. Additionally, SOKEN is committed to protecting the global environment, achieving carbon neutrality, and working toward a future with zero traffic accidents, contributing to realizing a sustainable society.

Through continuous technological advancement, we embrace innovative ideas and comprehensive research. Our researchers and engineers work closely together, prioritizing on-site problem-solving and rapid execution to deliver swift and effective technology development. In 2018, we established a new headquarters adjacent to the DENSO Advanced Research and Innovation Center, providing a state-of-the-art research environment that further enhances our capabilities. Moving forward, we remain dedicated to driving technological innovation for the global mobility society.
