Nippon Soken was established in November, 1970 as a joint research institution by 11 companies in the Toyota group, with the purpose of responding to the social needs of automotive safety and pollution prevention. Since 1985, we have been a joint venture of Denso Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation engaging in research projects, mainly in the fields of power trains, fuel cells, power electronics, information safety, and thermal systems.
